J.P. Frenay’s masterpiece is screening at the Brainfeeder Sessions this Sunday as part of the Future Cinema Series. I’m really excited about this one, Frenay’s work is not only incredibly executed hyper-real 3d graphics, it is philosophically and conceptually an inspired and unique contribution to 21st century cinema; a head-first dive into a possible future where a corporation has catalogued the lost memories of mankind in a virtually infinite organic/artificial databank. Can’t wait to see it on the big screen!

Hey everybody, here is another image option for the SOUND OF… audio/visual challenge! So here’s the idea re-iterated :

So, what d’ya think? This mix was really a departure for me… It was great to fuse so much unreleased material from my friends, incredibly creative lunatics who inspire me everyday. Peeps like NEST, PARTICLE KID, and BEN OLSEN. I was really feeling some of SHLOHMO’s tracks during this mix, and am excited to share some remixes of his work with you guys, you can check out his fucking incredible EP just released : SHLO-FI on the internet label ERROR BROADCAST. Definitely worth checking out, as is the work of MATTHEW DAVID and JONATHAN HASKELL whose sensibilities were a big influence in the composition this mix. I’m also happy I could include FLYING LOTUS’s ambient practice track on there; a track I could listen to contently for at least a couple millennia. There isn’t too much compression on it so you can really feel the quiet parts and the louder parts, it is best listened to in a quiet room at low volume (that’s my suggestion anyway). Enjoy!
